Re: What are you reading?
I've recently read everything I could get my hands on by R.E. Bradshaw. I read Waking Up Gray and was hooked and immediately bought the others. I love the Bradshaw's style and the setting of the stories is in my old stomping grounds. The characters were like people I've always known living and moving in familiar places. If you haven't read her stuff, get it!

I just finished The Wedding Party by Tracey Richardson. I enjoyed it, but I liked The Candidate much better. It had less characters, so it was much easier to keep up with!
I just bought it, so I'm guessing I will read it soon

I've just dug Trauma Alert out of the pile. I like Rad's medical setting books.
I preferred Trauma Alert

Also just finished Ali Vali's "Balance of Forces." I didn't think I'd be hip on a paranormal book, but I love Ali's writing and thought I'd give it a shot. LOVED it. Her characters are always so rich. Even the vampire ones. lol Now, I'm on a Lynn Galli re-read kick. Finished her "Wasted Heart" and am now enjoying once again, "Imagining Reality."
Hope everyone is doing well!
I LOVE Lynn Galli's books. They are some of my favorites.
Maybe I have to try Ali's book, I was thinking of skipping it since there is starting to be a lot of paranormal books now. I can read one once in a while but not all the time.
Radclyffe's last paranormal one wasn't the best I'm sad to say.. Pretty much all sex and not much story.
I liked the first one in the series though.
Is Ali coming out with a new Casey book soon or what happened to the New Orleans detective..

Re: What are you reading?
I've been reading Kate Sweeney's Kate Ryan series the last couple of weeks.
I must say I quite like it.
It's not up there with JM Redman's Micky Knight series, but it's quite good.

Lainie
Your in for a treat then Laine, I think it is one of her best, the backstory is well researched, which makes the protagonists stand out, I liked the decisiveness of one of them at the end.

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews about Firestorm...what do you think? Right now I'm working on 13 1/2 by Nevada Barr. It's an interesting diversion from her usual Anna Pigeon books.
It wasn't too bad. Certainly a far cry from the "Hunter series" It was rather sedate compared to that. I enjoyed the outdoorsie feel of it, but Trauma Alert was better.
